Parents own the account
Children never hold their own credentials. A learner space is opened from the parent account, and sensitive parent settings can be locked behind a parent PIN.

Designed so that the safe option is the default option
Child safety is not a settings page bolted on at the end. It shapes the account model, the content pipeline and what the product refuses to build.
No public profile, no open chat
There is no social graph, no messaging between users, no user-generated public content and no way for a stranger to contact a child through the platform.
No advertising
We do not show advertising to children, and we do not sell or share family data with advertisers or data brokers.
AI help is opt-in and bounded
The tutor is off by default, must be enabled per child by a parent, is grounded in the current lesson, is moderated, and is disabled entirely during diagnostics and assessments. A kill switch can disable it platform-wide.
Reporting and escalation
Any child-visible content can be reported from within the learner space. Reports enter a safety queue with defined response times, and every action is recorded in an audit trail.
Accessible by default
Text size, reduced motion, high contrast, narration, captions and a low-distraction mode are per-child settings. We target WCAG 2.2 AA, and themes cannot lower contrast below the accessible baseline.
